Clinton Allen is a compliance leader with competencies gained through roles in product development and commercialization, manufacturing, EHS management and governance. In 2007 he founded Ethiprax Associates, a compliance assurance consultancy with core strengths in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices and related healthcare industries. Allen is a 1983 graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point. Following military service in Europe and in the US that culminated in the rank of Captain, Allen began a civilian career with Mobil Chemical Corporation. He next directed the minority engineering program at San Francisco State University, and following three years of building that program, Allen was awarded a fellowship to Tufts University, where he earned a Master of Science degree in environmental science and management. Allen joined Bristol-Myers Squibb Corporation (BMS), where he progressed through a series of manager, director, and executive roles in environment, health and safety (EHS), mergers & acquisitions, new product development/launch, compliance auditing, crisis management and enterprise risk management. After leaving BMS, Allen founded Ethiprax Associates, LLC, a risk management and compliance assurance consultancy. The Ethiprax team leverages significant international experience, broad compliance expertise and relationships to bring value to its clients. In addition to pharma/biotech clients Ethiprax helps managed care and HMO/ hospital organizations assess, develop and implement improved compliance processes. Ethiprax also assists non-healthcare related companies with specific needs related to DOJ settlement and deferred prosecution agreements, offering project management, compliance expert, and monitoring services. Allen has served as a board member of Central New Jersey INROADS, as a member of the Professional Advisory Board for Western States College of Law at Argosy University, and as an advisor to both start-up and established ventures.
