Prabhakar Raghavan becomes Google's new Head of Search

Google announced Prabhakar Raghavan as its new Head of Search earlier this week. He will be taking over Ben Gomes, who will be moving to a different role within the company. Prabhakar will now report to Sudar Pichai, the Cheif Executive Officer of Alphabet. 

The advertising business of Google will now be managed by Jerry Dischler who will now report Prabhakar. Dischler, at present, leads the product and engineering team for ads business under Google. Looking for other changes in the company, Jen Fitzpatrick, who is now Google Maps Senior Vice-President, will move to manage and lead the company's core and corporate engineering teams of 8,000 employees.
